Unarmed Camel F1390 at No 3 School of Air Fighting, Bircham Newton, in 1918.
An Avro 504 is in the background.



The School was later moved to Sedgeford, and Bircham Newton became the base
for No 166 Sqn which was working up to operating the Handley-Page V/1500 on
bombing raids as far as Berlin. The Armistice came before the first raid
could take place.
